Savannah State

Savannah State University may be moving to DII, or not. Students must ban together and figure out what money that needs to be raised, once that's done they must then contact past prominent alumni and ask for support . Also students must add an annual donation from all students to meet cost. With that the school should stabilize, but the funds must be only for their Athletics budget. Actually with the Savannah media market, a jump up to FBS, would be the option many would support. A drop down to DII, well that is an insult to the students, coaches and so on. Georgia Southern knows well how deep pockets have to get. I suggest the University open options to a higher spectrum, I'm sure Georgia Southern could show you how it works. We don't want to loose games with Savannah State it has been part of Georgia Southern rivalry with the school. The time is now either jump is scary why not go FBS, As a matter of fact Savannah State is better than some of those schools. The Media Market of Savannah , and alot of deep pockets exist.
