Georgia Southern Football, "America's Football team"

Georgia Southerns season hasnt prove to be perfect , but a view the players and their coach Tyson Summers have is interesting to me. A bowl game would be nice and winning Sunbelt games. And word is they plan to do just that. Miracles happen , and I hope this happens. I hope this happens for the whole University but I hope for a first win .We all hope nothing but the best.Go Eagles!!! On, the defensive side Georgia Southern is winning , and people are recognizing it too. The defense is firing on cylinders not seen as fierce the past few years. The spark on defense is coming back and it's showing through, through the great eye glasses, I think the smart thing to do is give Tyson Summers time to evolve, he has a young team, and word is they back him. Most people with big knowledge of the game of football say if history proves true with time, with the defense firing hard proves Tyson is getting us solid in defense, and game two proved better than game one. Tyson Summers is bringing this team together, I see a Alabama style run , the young team gets better every week. Soon the offense will clique, and then Georgia Southern Football will be on everyone's kitchen table, have faith, Go Eagles!! I respect a team who supports their coach , Go Eagles!!!!

Georgia Southern, MUST upgrade Football Stadium part 2

Imagine being on the phone, scheduling games , and you are asked, "What is your stadiums compacity?" And you answer 25,000, other schools want to play where you atleast draw 40,000 people and then that's to far fetched when asking teams such as UGA, GA.TECH, CLEMSON, TENNESSEE, FLORIDA, FLORIDA STATE, MIZZOU, AUBURN, and so on. By adding Four thousand seats a year, at that rate, the stadium in five years alone would pay for Georgia Southern to compete and bring big names to Statesboro. In the world of College Football the time is now. Within eight years if the suit is followed I fear the stadium won't be to par and the team will be left behind.Using the avenue to better facilities for all student athletes. And not just football.Implementing upgrades would be very fortunate, not doing so may be a setback ahead of time. Go Eagles!!!

Georgia Southern Football: America's Football Team

Around Statesboro, amongst business men and women, lawyers, doctors, lumber companies, welders, stores, farmers , the very backbone of the community I'm sure during break have conversations about the past season we had, and the one the team is having. We'll have to ride the season out and hope for a win. At all cost we must support our team. No matter if we agree or not we must not let unfortunate events stray us from our team. As a writer researching other writers i have learned to remember where our team came from just a few years ago. At the top of the FCS, Georgia Southern would shatter opposing teams hopes, dreams. So the reality is there are some very good teams in the FCS. In our Conference teams loose to FCS, because of transitions, getting feels for coaches, basically, though tough to swallow , Georgia Southern has no other choice but to climb that hill. The FBS, is no joke, before it's over there will be more losses in the future. From everyone's standpoint something is wrong, we all agree, we ask that our players not leave, or loose vision, and keep morale high while going through the deepest darkest of despair, be men, fight hard, win or loose. One day this will clear it self up, until then the games must be packed, support our team, and never turn our back . Georgia Southern must calm down, compose themselves and move forward. Tyson Summers must find a way to win. Any team can do it, you as a team must believe you can. I suggest teams as part of conditioning should take Aikido or Jeet, Kune, Do. To learn more elusive movements. It can also teach throwing techniques, pre-counter movements, during un-disciplined, times call for discipline. Investing into this would teach this team how to bond.And I have long believed, would translate on the field. Not to mention training for the season would be quite interesting to cover. At times like this it would ease the players minds. With learning something to protect themselves, it would surely reflect on the field. Throws in the martial arts world would drastically inhance football field performance. Implementing the throws of Aikido, would improve play so much that by years end next year every school would be teaching Aikido across the country. What I'm saying is include things you know will improve production, Go Eagles!!!

Georgia Southern must upgrade

Since Georgia Southern has had success in sale out ticket sales. And from a logical standpoint, with the Armstrong Campus. Now is the time to add more seating. All great stadiums do this, by adding three to four thousand seats per year were ready when dialed up by the big conference. Like the ACC, SEC, and so on. Also more home games could be scheduled with bigger name teams. Bringing a Alabama, Auburn, UGA, so on would help sweeten the deal once more seating is available. Sales alone is why Auburn dosent mind paying over a million dollars, because they make triple. What if that revenue came to southern? So build the stadium bigger, if you build it , they will come. Go Eagles!! Expand!! Make your mark now.

Georgia Southern vs. New Hampshire wildcats

This weekend Georgia Southern faces FCS, University of New Hampshire at Paulson Stadium. Leaks of pretty cool helmets to be worn by Georgia Southern. The Wildcats come in with a win, while Georgia Southern sits at a loss. I predict Auburn to finish number two in the SEC this year, so the loss by Georgia Southern showed some promise, for one the defense. In The Sunbelt Conference , no other team is loaded on defense like Georgia Southern. The only other team would be Appalachian State , viewed as the only other team that may could score against Georgia Southern. And when the offense turns for the better, Georgia Southern then will be very serious contenders. Until then a team thrown to the wolves must scratch themselves out of the metaphorical quick sand and back on top soon. Auburn was expected. Georgia Southern has three or four QB'S, let us see them play. The hole closes so fast against Auburn, that I think we should hit the reset and get back to buisness against New Hampshire. Tyson Summers should be allowed passing plays open to him, if faced with another game like Auburn. It was a winnable game. Defense is on spot, Georgia Southern will win their conference if the offense starts clicking. That means hitting the gap and committing to that gap. Also, have a passing plan. The option is our identity, but not allowing our guys to open the passing game with the run seems almost advertedly done, is not exceptable. Many may think I'm being mean when I say Georgia Southern will let a coach go if they don't win, well I'm not, I'm telling the truth. It is the same way at every school. Tyson Summers could be a great coach, but he needs to win first, at all cost. He is suppose to be a very good defensive coach. And I hope he stays around for that. With the coaches he has under him, the only other reality is that Auburn is a very, very good team this year. It is really too early to tell what our team will be this year, I'm afraid that we truly won't know until the end of our season unfortunately. New Hampshire is a good team as well. This game is very important, much more than Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech. Georgia Southern must protect themselves ,and find the endzone. I see something big coming to Georgia Southern. But if they keep loosing it will never happen. GOODLUCK ! Go Eagles. I also think Tennessee will upset Georgia this year, who knows we will see. But I'm telling you Georgia Southern Fans, I see a good offense who needs to click, and a defense that will rattle you. Big times coming, be patient , It will be worth the wait. If Tyson Summers can find a way to make his team come together he will become one of the greatest, if not someone else will. Georgia Southern is coming, and there ain't nothing you can do to stop it. And Georgia Southern, alumni, current students, and the ones you hear about with deep pockets, will not stop until our football team is amongst the teams we started with before the war. Go Eagles!!!

Auburn spanks Georgia Southern

Auburn has won and rightfully so. Auburn is good people, damn good. Georgia Southerns defense held up well against a much better offense than shown . I believe Auburn could have scored more than they did, but decided not to embarrass Georgia Southern, hats off to Auburn, job well done. Auburn did finish with a five touchdown win, so I was wrong. Georgia Southern was out played, Auburn brought heart, and then some. Fans have also told me they would like to see other QBS, The QB didn't share the ball, shooting the gaps were very slow , uncommitted to gaps, not managing north and south, sad night for Georgia Southern. Go Eagles , next week should be a win!!!

Auburn vs. Georgia Southern

Tomorrow's meeting between Georgia Southern and Auburn is looking to be a great game. Although the two schools have deep roots, that we all deeply respect, let them boys play. Auburn, Georgia Southern is coming for a win. Football , at the end of the day , should be a handshake, sometimes when pride like this collides, lookout! And Auburn fans if you don't show up to any other game, this one is it. Georgia Southern has a bad case of the wants, better bring your heart , or Georgia Southern can break it. It's an honor to see our Eagles play Auburn, our schools deserve many more meetings, say like a trip to Statesboro. Maybe the stadium needs an addition of more seats. Just know when your school comes and plays at Georgia Southern they will fall in love and probably never leave. Serious , no joke, they will want to stay. Georgia Southern gives students that down home country feel, and the most genuine scene . It's real ladies and gentlemen the magic on the field, creek, and their bringing some with them. In Statesboro, we like football, we want it played well and classy. We believe in winning , but in a game like this if we loose it's ok. Why? Cause it's brotherhood, and honestly , fun at the end of the day. Auburn is known to have one of the top offenses and defenses across the country, of course Georgia Southern will come to win, the Coach Needs this win, set a tone, more of a championship game at the start of the season, Every game is important, more so than anyone else thinks.
